HERE'S A JOB YOU WON'T WANT!!

If you want to work Monday to Friday 9 to 5 you'd hate it here.
If you want routine with every day the same you'd detest it.
If you want traditional youth and children's work you'd find it very difficult to fit in.
If you are comfortable with maintaining the status quo you'd be very uncomfortable.
If you have no ability to innovate you'd find this place very stressful.
If you don't like working in a team, there are no loners here.
If you don't have a sense of humour and can't laugh at yourself you wouldn't get the joke and if you can't take risks, recognising that failure's OK, you'd probably panic.
Frankly if any of this is true, DON'T read any further.

ON THE OTHER HAND if any of that sounds appealing you MIGHT want to read on and we MIGHT want to have a look at you:

'Living Christ in Camberley' is not a strap line; it is our vision to which we aspire and we are engaged in a major change of culture prioritising engagement with un-churched people. This applies to our family, youth and children provision - sharing the gospel and supporting families.
We have some great volunteers who work with around 130 children and young people in church groups and outreach activities. We are committed to every member ministry promoting key behaviours of active ownership, boldness and servant heart shared across the congregation.

BUT WE ARE RESTLESS. We want an exceptional person with a proven track record of adventurous Youth and Children ministry to take this work here to a new level. You will be passionate about Jesus Christ, committed to team-based ministry and have a readiness to step into uncharted waters especially with teenagers in church, school and wherever young peoples' lives can be touched.

NOT DETERRED BY THE CHALLENGE. The spiritual rewards are great and you will not be disappointed by the package for the right person. If you're still interested email admin@stpaulscamb.co.uk for further details and application form. Or for an informal chat, call Mark Chester, the vicar, on 01276 700211 or email mark@stpaulscamb.co.uk.

This full time post carries an occupational requirement of Christian faith and satisfactory DBS check.
The closing date for applications is Midday Friday 30 May.
